BNP, police clash at Naya Paltan
Police say the party was holding a dissent in the city without earlier authorization
BNP activists conflicted with police on Tuesday, inciting the specialists to send extra powers around the party base camp in Naya Paltan.
The conflict was accounted for at around 11:30am when some BNP men drew out a parade towards Kakrail crossing toward the finish of a "harmony rally" before their office.
The clash followed when they attempted to draw out a parade, which, as per the police, they had not taken consent for.
As police attempted to impede the parade, BNP activists heaved bludgeons at the law implementers, reports UNB.
At a certain point, police rod charged the BNP men and shot elastic projectiles to scatter the group to manage the circumstance.
BNP Standing Committee Member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy asserted that police had discouraged the convention and captured numerous BNP activists, reports UNB.
